FROSTBITE CC

FROSTBITE is a cold × warm cinematic colour correction for After Effects, saved as one preset (.ffx) you drop on an adjustment layer.

The look

• Steel-blue, slightly cyan shadows and darker areas, without turning every dark area blue.
• Neutral-to-slightly-warm midtones that keep natural colours.
• Soft amber highlights and clean, creamy whites.
• Natural warm skin: orange casts are calmed instead of pushed.
• Strong background colours (yellows, teals) are restrained so the subject stands out.
• Crisp detail from gentle, luma-only sharpening that leaves skin smooth.
• A small, warm glow only on the brightest lights.

What's inside the preset

• Lumetri Color: exposure, contrast and tone.
• Color Balance: cool shadows, warm highlights.
• Selective Color: skin, background colours and whites.
• Sapphire S_Sharpen and BCC Unsharp Mask: detail.
• Sapphire S_Glow: highlight glow.
• Magic Bullet Looks: included switched off, for your own creative touch.
