Terms of Service

The agreement between you and TAIO® when you use this website or buy a product.
Draft — not legal advice. This text is a starting template for a store run from Portugal and selling to consumers in the EU. It must be reviewed by a qualified professional before launch. Fields in brackets still need to be completed in Admin → Settings.

1. About us

TAIO® — Digital Assets Studio is operated by [Owner's legal name or company], [Registered address in Portugal], NIF/VAT [NIF / VAT number], contact [Contact email].

2. Accounts

You log in with Discord. You're responsible for your Discord account's security. One person, one account. We may suspend accounts that breach these terms, abuse the service or commit fraud, and will tell you why unless the law prevents it.

3. Products and licenses

Products are digital files: editing assets, templates, presets, LUTs, overlays, sound effects, 3D models and similar. Buying a product gives you a license to use it, not ownership of the copyright. Each product page shows the license that applies; the default is the TAIO Standard License. Listings marked “Demo” are illustrative examples and are not for sale.

4. Prices and payment

  • Prices are in euros and include VAT where applicable. The final price is shown before you pay.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. We never receive your full card details.
  • An order is complete only when the payment provider confirms payment to us. A browser redirect alone does not complete an order.
  • If an obvious pricing error occurs, we will contact you and offer a refund or the correct price before delivery.

5. Delivery

Products are delivered digitally to My Library right after confirmed payment, where you can download them through secure, time-limited links. We may update products; you keep access to the version you bought and to later updates we choose to publish.

6. Right of withdrawal

Consumers in the EU normally have 14 days to withdraw from an online purchase. For digital content supplied immediately, this right ends once delivery begins, only if you expressly asked for immediate delivery and acknowledged losing the right (Decree-Law 24/2014, Art. 17(1)(m), implementing Directive 2011/83/EU). You give that consent at checkout. See the Refund Policy.

7. Conformity

Products must match their description and work as described. If a product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to have it fixed or, if that isn't possible, to a price reduction or refund, under Decree-Law 84/2021. This doesn't depend on the withdrawal waiver.

8. Acceptable use

Don't share your account or download links, scrape the site, try to bypass access controls, post unlawful or abusive reviews, or upload content you don't have rights to.

9. Reviews

Only customers who own a product can review it. Reviews must be honest and about the product. We may hide reviews that break these rules, but we never edit their content or remove them for being negative.

10. Liability

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer or our liability for intent or gross negligence. Otherwise, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the products.

11. Complaints and disputes

Contact us first at [Contact email]. You can also use the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico. Consumer disputes may be referred to an alternative dispute resolution entity: [Name and website of the competent ADR centre, e.g. CNIACC].

12. Law

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence, and may bring proceedings in its courts.
